Usually, I try to be concise when writing blog entries and stuff, but anyone willing to put up with me never posting anything here is probably willing to read some long paragraphs.
Anyways, on to the news. I finally have a new comic! You can find it here:
sans.thecomicseries.com/It's a furry comic, and it's going to be a bit more serious than some of my other comics. I'm tired of drawing comics no one reads, though, so if the first chapter of the comic completely bombs, I won't continue it. It's 37 pages long, and I'm still drawing it, so hopefully I'll have you guys hooked by then.
Why am I drawing another furry comic? For one, after Confession Story, I've kind of felt a need to draw a
good furry comic. I enjoyed drawing Confession Story a lot, and the art is pretty good in some places, but the writing makes it intolerable. I'd like to make a comic were both are good. Also, I'm on a mission to do the impossible, and make a furry comic that has absolutely no fanservice. There's so much of that going on, I hope to be able to make a comic that will upset that trend.
It is also eventually going to be important to the plot, but I won't give anything away now.
Also, about this account and why I rarely post anything on it. For one, uploading on DeviantArt is sort of a pain. There's so much metadata and stuff to set up I never really feel like posting things here. Also, I draw comics so much that I'm not used to drawing normal pictures, and my parody comics have always been kind of a side project. To help with that, though, I've gotten a Tumblr account. For those of you who actually like my artwork, hopefully I'll remember to post things there more often.
tanteisakana.tumblr.com/There, you can also find a link to my YouTube channel, which has a bunch of reviews and dramatic readings and stuff, so that might also be fun.
Another reason things have been going slow is that I've been drawing and typing so much that I injured my hand. It's not carpal tunnel, it's the other thing, tendinitis, tendonitis, whatever it is. Luckily, it's been recovering pretty nicely, so I can draw now, I just have to limit my time a lot more than before. Because of that, if you're interested in helping out with some part of my comic production, maybe we can work something out.
So, there it is. My second journal entry of the year. Thanks, my few remaining fans, for being interested in my artwork and stuff.
